Does Denis Milani Have An Std

Day 1. Materials and Measurements:: Sew Along # 1

preparations ready .... NOW!
MATERIALS
We talked fabric of basic sewing and amount of fabric needed, so little left to say here. Some other considerations before you cut:
  • The dress supports virtually any fabric, including denim. In this case I want to stress that there are seams in there will be many layers of tissue. Make sure that the machine can sew with it and the needle is correct.
  • cotton fabrics shrink and so are washed and ironed before. The piquillo and embroidered ribbons, too, and also can strip paint so be careful.
  • needles sewing machine break down faster than it seems. A broken needle stitching will hurt, and often think of as the voltage of the machine that is wrong, when in fact a new needle is the solution. I the change each time you finish something, and always I have many spares on hand.
  • The thread color should be coordinated with fabrics. Or not. I use white the vast majority of the time and keep the color for the stitching that are seen.
  • My sewing sessions are nocturnal, and one hour Max. To be productive to try to have everything prepared well in advance and not waste time looking for materials. Liar
  • taps takes time. Before beginning prepare two cans per case. I have also always equal two spools of thread, one in the rolling machine and a bobbin, or do things by hand, to avoid that unthreading the machine and re-threading. MEASURES
body measurements accurately be taken depending on the pledge that we are putting together measures will be more important than others. Our dress is cut loose and so far determinant is the bust measurement.

time ago I wrote this entry on how to measure the kids. In the event that your seedlings are ready to work more than mine, the right way to do is take the measure of your bust without clothes, just below the armpits and arms straight down. The tape should be completely horizontal and loosely, but not so slack that fits your finger. The pattern already includes sufficient slack to allow movement.

started taking the measure of your bust to small. My 5 year old daughter measured 54 cms, with this measure we will this measurement chart and select the size that most comes close. In my case I have chosen the size 3.

** Eye chart measures listed in the pattern is not the same as the size chart of the web and S. Oliver The pattern is finished garment measurements, not the girl! **

For size 3 long Dress according to measurement chart for finished garment is 46.4 cms. For my taste is long and it will shorten as we shall see tomorrow. The smaller size where does this pattern is 2, which corresponds to a chest size of 53cms. Is a reasonably generous, and probably great for girls aged 2 years, so yesterday we saw a way to reduce the pattern for a bust measurement of approximately 51cms. You can see by clicking here .

Nothing more, thank you for participating. Tomorrow we will prepare the pattern.
sewing Greetings! Mary
